People find their drive in a four-letter word: SENSE.
Those who know their reasons, their why, are already intrinsically motivated.
The keynote speeches by CEM (Chief Executive Motivator) Gabriel Schandl remind us of this. His verbal “KITA” (friendly kick in the ass) is a popular reason that he uses to give employees and managers a friendly shake-up in his talks. Participants leave the lecture with a new smile on their face and a willingness to get back to work. Numerous best-practice examples encourage and inspire people to think outside the box.
"Mission: Helping to shape a world I want to live in through my work and my being."
What drives me?
Since the beginning of my business studies in Linz and Italy, at the Università degli Studi in Siena and various other training and further education courses in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the USA, I have had one particular goal:
To decode the myth of performance and motivation.
Long before the first books on the subject of peak performance conquered the bestseller lists, I wanted to research outstanding (leadership) performance both empirically and through life experience and, as a trend scout, examine the success personalities that I had already studied in my diploma thesis in 2002. This resulted in extremely interesting findings, which I will pass on in my presentation.

Performance happiness & personality: discover and use your talents:
How to finally do what you do best
Fact: We spend most of our waking hours at work.
Problem: People are too often in a leisure-oriented protective attitude because they neither know nor use their talents. They become ill, depressed, give up, work towards the weekend, after work and vacation. It doesn't have to be like this!
Solution: Discovering and using your own talents creates happiness and joie de vivre. Not because work is the only thing that fulfills us, but because we do what we enjoy doing. In doing so, we stop looking at the clock and ideally experience a state of flow.
Benefits: Greater happiness, productivity, success and health through better use of our own potential and talents.
